The idea is to allow managers and executives who want to upgrade their “operating system” with short and focused programs. Many elite business schools in the world offer Executive Education programs. Prospect MIT AMP students - this is for you. So for those of you who consider taking the program, I collected some personal experiences and insights for your consideration. But in my searches I didn’t find many first-hand shares by graduates, which can often shed new, more personal, light on such programs. When I was looking for material as a candidate, I learned about it mainly from its webpage, which is very informative. Many have asked me about the program since my return. It’s been a transforming experience in more than one way: not only the lectures introducing the best, most updated management methods from top-notch faculty, but also the exceptional MIT teaching techniques, the exposure to Cambridge unique innovation hub, getting to know and learn from the program’s cohort, and even the experience of getting back to student's state of mind, with commitments like homework and project submission deadlines. Two months should provide a good perspective. Two months ago, I completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at MIT Sloan School of Management. Nothing like self humor to break the ice. Ten minutes into his lecture about disciplined entrepreneurship, Bill Aulet asked us: “You know what MBA stands for, right?
